Wind – NZ Should Adopt Wind Power

  • Clean. Wind energy is clean and produces no waste.
  • Abundant and Reliable. New Zealand has some of the best wind resources in the world.
  • It’s affordable. Wind energy is the cheapest forms of renewable energy. When the wind blows peak production of a single 1 KW generator can reach 25 Kilowatt a day. The average NZ home uses 8 KW a day.
  • Jobs. We can easily manufacture wind turbines in New Zealand. The Aerotek design is NZ designed and holds great promise as a viable and cost effective wind turbine.
  • Preference The perception of most New Zealanders is that wind power can produce the most energy.
