We started experimenting with battery desulphation in 2005. Our system is now perfected and our restored batteries are often as good as new batteries.
The record for our restored batteries in automotive use is 5 years and for deep cycle more than that and counting.
What makes our desulphation different are not just the techniques but the process as well. This is why others have not been able to emulate us.
Sustainable Battery Recycling
Adding reuse to the battery recycling loop introduces the idea of sustainable battery recycling. If 50% of the spent batteries are rstored and reuse, we get a huge savings in energy and resourses. It also makes large battery banks affordable for off grid renewable installations.
Nimh Battery Reconditioning
Responding to a request from one of our customers we started experimenting with Nimh battery reconditioning in 2007.
Nimh batteries develops memory effects and the object was to erase this to restore capacity.
This technique is used in reconditioning the HEV battery pack.
Another technique we added for the HEV battery pack was building up the Nimh battery’s ability to hold voltage under stress.
As good used cells are difficult to get for the generation one hybrid we started rebuilding the tubes by spot welding and then reconditioning these rebuilt tubes.
HEV Battery Warranty
The Battery Clinic is the only company willing to offer a one year warranty on our rebuilt battery pack.
We also offer HEV battery warranty to existing owners who wants insurance and peace of mind against expensive HEV battery replacements.

We choose to support amorphous panels because we believe that on a cost per watt basis, these panels offer best value for money.

We partnered and supported the development of a New Zealand designed and manufactured wind generator.
