I have a 1998 Prius, it is still running , but is showing the red triangle and the engine icon. Occasionally the turtle comes up. The ultra tune people have said that the battery needs reconditioning, but I can’t seem to find anyone in NSW Australia who can do this. Do you have any branches over here

No1 02 Sensor was supplied by Patrick and fitted locally and we are up and running again after a few hiccups with starting and running the car. It is in Auckland this week for a reset of the red triangle which came on due to the 02 sensor failure

the diagnostic machine is showing codes p3101 engine faulty and p0171 system too lean(A/F Lean malfunction, bank1) and code p3191 engine does not start although the car is still moving well though with loss of power when in low speed and on hilly areas.

You need to get the vehicle scan to see the fault codes. From your description I think you have 2 problems. 1) The hybrid battery is getting weak, 2) The inverter/converter may be faulty. Hybrid & Electric is our vehicle franchise for hybrid repairs and Power Jockey distribution and installation. Hopefully we can get 1 setup in Kenya.

hi,
i have a toyota estima hybrid E Four 2005 imported from japan now in kenya. its showing the check engine light and when starting off draggs then picks momentum. when you approach a hilly plce it almost stalls . difficult at hill start as it oftenly goes off the engine.
when put on the diagnostic machine it shows air too lean. no good mechanics who understands this.
what is this and what should i do

Ho many do you have? These cars are tough. We can teach you to recondition them. You will need to install the Power Jockey after reconditioning. We will be appointing agents worldwide for distribution and installation of the Power Jockey which will also include reconditioning of the battery pack.
