Petrol
For starting petrol cars we carry 3 sizes – Small Medium and Large
Small ($45) – 200 mm ( NS40 and European Din 44)
Medium ($55) – 230 mm (NS60 and European Din 55)
Large ($65) – 260 mm (NS70 and European Din 66)
( Price includes $10 trade in for your old battery. Din batteries cost $10 more )
NS40
NS50
NS70
These batteries usually take between 2 to 4 days to recondition with our desulphation techniques. After desulphation all the active chemicals are returned to solution just like they would be if they were new less the amount of material that have fallen off.
All the surface area of the plates in the battery are availiable to release electrons. These batteries can last 2 years on the average and some have even been in operation for as long as 5 years.
Rule of thumb when fitting a recondition battery is to get the largest battery you can fit in the battery compartment as the difference between sizes is only $10.
Diesel
For starting Diesel cars we carry 2 sizes - Large and Extra Large
Large ($65) – 260 mm ( NS70 and European Din 66)
X-Large($75) – 300 mm (NS70ZZ and European Din 88)
( Price includes $10 trade in for your old battery. Din batteries cost $10 more )
These batteries usually take between 3 to 5 days to recondition with our desulphation techniques.
We need at least 400 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) to start a diesel engine. Our batteries range from 400 to 800 CCA after desulphation.
Major savings here as some of these batteries can cost as much as $300 new.
Trucks
For starting trucks and busses we carry 4 sizes - N100 – N200
N100 ($95) – 260 mm ( European Din 99)
N120 ($105) – 300 mm
N150 ($125) – 260 mm
N200 ($135) – 300 mm
( Price includes trade in for your old battery.)
These batteries usually take between 4 to 6 days to recondition with our desulphation techniques.
These batteries are harder to recondition and we may be out of stock from time to time.
The CCA of these batteries range from 600 to 1000.
Marine Start
Marine start batteries are a cross between a start battery and a deep cycle battery.
You can use standard start batteries for marine start purposes. They have higher CCA and work better.
If you want a battery for deep cycle use as well why not buy both. Total price will still cost less than a new start battery.
